How to Let Others Hear Real-Time Translations in Google Meet by Changing Your Microphone

Updated this week

1. Confirm that a virtual audio device is installed on your computer

If it is not installed yet:

2. Switch the microphone device in Google Meet

1) Open Google Meet and start a meeting.

2) Click the "Microphone " button.

3) Switch the microphone to " TransGull Audio " (as shown in the example image). Once selected, the setup is complete! 🎉

3. Set up the sound you want to transmit in TransGull

You can click the “Settings” button in the upper-right corner, then click “Translation Playback Settings” to configure according to your needs.

For example, if the Two-Way interpretation languages are “English ↔️ Spanish,” and you enable Spanish playback(as shown in the example image), the speaker will play the English translation to the other party in the online meeting.
