TransGull allows you to broadcast real-time translated speech to the other party in online meetings or voice chats by adjusting the microphone settings in your app.
Due to operating system and software permission limitations, platform support varies as follows:
1. Fully Compatible Apps (Supported on both Windows & macOS)
As long as the app allows you to select a microphone device, you can seamlessly broadcast real-time translation and enable simultaneous interpretation.
Video Conferencing Platforms:
Zoom, Google Meet, VooV, Webex, GoTo Meeting, RingCentral Video, Zoho Meeting, Jitsi Meet, Whereby, BigBlueButton, 8x8 Meet, Livestorm, Demio, Butter, Gather
Instant Messaging & Voice Tools:
Telegram (Desktop), Slack Huddles, Signal (Desktop), Viber, LINE, KakaoTalk, Discord, Messenger Web (via browser microphone permissions)
🌟 Note: If an app does not allow microphone selection, you can still use TransGull to translate the other party's voice in real time, but you won't be able to broadcast the translation back to them.

💡 How to switch microphone devices in your meeting or voice chat app:
macOS: Set the microphone or audio input device to "TransGull Audio" in your app's audio settings.
Windows: Set the microphone or audio input device to "CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)" in your app's audio settings.
