How to Let Others Hear Real-Time Translations in Zoom by Changing Your Microphone

1. Confirm that a virtual audio device is installed on your computer

If it is not installed yet:

2. Switch the microphone device in Zoom

· Open Zoom and start a meeting.

· Click the "Audio" button in the lower-left corner.

· Switch the microphone to " TransGull Audio " (as shown in the example image). Once selected, the setup is complete! 🎉

3. Set up the sound you want to transmit in TransGull

You can click the “Settings” button in the upper-right corner, then click “Translation Playback Settings” to configure according to your needs.

  • Send the Spanish translation to the meeting app

If the Two-Way interpretation languages are “Spanish↔️English” and you enable Spanish(as shown in the example image), the Spanish translation will be sent to the other party in the online meeting.

  • Send Your original speech and the Spanish translation to the meeting app

If the Two-Way interpretation languages are set to “Spanish ↔️ English” and you enable Spanish and Your original speech (as shown in the example image), both your original speech and the Spanish translation will be sent to the other party in the online meeting.
