1. Export Subtitles
After the video translation is complete, tap the Share button in the bottom-right corner, then select Export Subtitles.
iOS : Select Export Source Subtitles / Export Target Subtitles, then choose a folder to save the subtitle file.
Android: Subtitles are exported directly, and the .srt
file will be saved in the folder: Download/TransGull/
2. Play with Subtitles
You can use any media player that supports .srt
files to play the video with the exported subtitles.
For example: Playing a video with Infuse
a) Rename the subtitle file to match the video name and place both in the same folder.
b) Import the files together into the Flies, and the video will automatically play with subtitles.
3. Combine Subtitles with Video
You can also use editing tools such as CapCut to merge the video and subtitles into a single file.
For example: Using the CapCut software
a) First, import the local video file and drag the video clip into the editing timeline.
b) Then, select Captions → Add captions, choose the subtitle file saved on your device, and drag it into the editing timeline.
c) Customize the subtitle font, size, color, and other styles in CapCut as needed. Finally, click the Export button in the top-right corner to export the video.
4. Upload to Video Platforms
If you need to add subtitles on video streaming platforms, simply upload the subtitle file together with your video during the upload process.
For example: Adding subtitles when uploading a video on YouTube
a)In YouTube Studio, click Create and upload your video.
b) Next, click Language and captions certification, and select the video language.
c) Under Video elements, click Add subtitles and upload the subtitle file.
