How to use TransGull to translate YouTube videos?

Updated this week

TransGull makes it easy to translate YouTube videos. Just a few quick steps, and you’ll get bilingual subtitles with voice recognition and translation:

1. On YouTube, tap “Share” and copy the video link.

2. Open TransGull’s Video button, paste the link, and tap “Open URL.”

3. Choose the original video language and the target translation language.

AI will auto-detect the original language. If it’s incorrect, please adjust manually.

4. Select the subtitle source.

If the video has subtitles, “Built-in Subtitles” will be used by default. Switch to “AI Recognition” if needed.

5. The video will enter the preprocessing stage. Please do not close the TransGull app during this time.

6. When the screen shows “Translating…”, you may navigate to other pages or minimize the app and use other applications. TransGull will notify you when the video translation is complete.

After the translation is finished, you can view the video under “Watch & Listen Later” on the TransGull homepage.
